Key to the species

Founded on: Wilcox, J. (1936): Asilidae, new and otherwise, from the Southwest, with a key to the genus Stichopogon. - Pan-Pacific Entomologist 12: 201-212; San Francisco. [amended]
Remark: The species Stichopogon pritchardi Bromley, 1951 is lacking in the key because the original description is insufficient. Bromley compares it simply with S. abdominalis.
