Oranized in the style of 1920, the exhibition gives an overview of the general geology of Europe, the systematics of minerals and the most important index-fossils of the geological eras (periods, ages).
The visitor gets to know numerous mineral- and ore-stages from different places in Nassau, which are now extinct. Special geological (geo-historical) features of the basin of Mainz and the Taunus mountains are also presented. [ground-plan: room 10, ground floor]
