This species has the characteristics of the nonvalid genus Trypanoides BECKER, 1925 (in which the ovipositor starts with 6th segment). It differs in the shape of mystax, which has some whitish hair in the lower middle (like specimens from Vietnam, collected by HRADSKÝ)
